Our vision is to be the best creative partner for CG features, high end 2D TV shows and creating original content.  Our greatest strength is our incredibly talented team, whom we have recruited from around the world. Rob Cullen
Rob Cullen, Founder and Creative Director
Robert Cullen is the founder and Creative Director of Boulder Media which he established in 2000. Robert has worked in the animation industry for over twenty years. In 2007 Robert was nominated for an Emmy for his Animation Direction on Cartoon Networks ‘Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends’.

In 2007 Robert was nominated for an Emmy for his Animation Direction on Cartoon Networks ‘Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends’. He went on to be the Animation Director on El Tigre for Nickelodeon, The Amazing World of Gumball for Cartoon Network, Randy Cunningham-9th Grade Ninja for Disney and Supervising Director on Go Jetters produced for Cbeebies. Robert has also written/directed several pilots and shorts. In 2014 Robert was selected as the Director on Danger Mouse for BBC and Fremantle of which he directed 78x11 min episodes. Robert’s latest project has been as director on the upcoming MY LITTLE PONY CG feature film, Ireland’s first full length CG feature production which will debut in September 2021.
Jenni MacNeaney
Jenni MacNeaney, General Manager
As Boulder’s GM, Jenni MacNeaney brings over 20 years’ experience in running busy Animation Studios. For the past 16 years Jenni has been a crucial part of Boulder’s Senior Leadership team and has operationally overseen the studio’s acquisition and integration with Hasbro and eOne.
As Boulder’s GM, Jenni MacNeaney brings over 20 years’ experience in running busy Animation Studios. For the past 16 years Jenni has been a crucial part of Boulder’s Senior Leadership team and has operationally overseen the studio’s acquisition and integration with Hasbro and eOne. She has strategically enabled the business for both the studio’s rapid growth and subsequent stabilisation phases. Prior joining Boulder Jenni worked at Visio heading up their E-Commerce, Technical and Customer Support divisions for the EMEA region. Before moving to Visio, Jenni held the position of Operations Manager for Dell’s Global Account Division and Dells’ Eastern Europe Distributer Business. Jenni’s career began in Animation working at Emerald City Productions, a studio founded in Dublin by DLT Entertainment. Jenni worked at the studio for nearly 5 years and while there held the post of Studio Manager.
Tony Matthews
Tony Matthews, Head of Feature Animation Production
Tony came to Boulder to create a studio environment where artists can create amazing, heart-touching stories for international audiences while they collaborate, grow, and thrive in the complex and challenging world of animated feature film making.
Tony came to Boulder to create a studio environment where artists can create amazing, heart-touching stories for international audiences while they collaborate, grow, and thrive in the complex and challenging world of animated feature film making. Tony has learned about the unstoppable power of passionate, collaborative creativity in over two decades working on animated features with teams from world renown studios as well as start-up and boutique producers. Having worked on three continents with incredibly diverse filmmakers, Tony was thrilled to be bringing his experience and insight to Ireland and collaborate with these amazing artists from Ireland, Europe, and around the world. And for good measure he’s also spent a few years working on the International Space Station project. It’s a diverse team we have here! Film credits include The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Dinosaur, Astro Boy, Abominable, Gnomeo & Juliet, Dolphin Tale, Little Boy, Lego/Marvel projects, and now the new My Little Pony feature!
Paul O’Flanagan
Paul O’Flanagan, Senior Television Director
Having graduated Senior College Ballyfermot in 2000, Paul joined Boulder Media later that year, helping develop the identity of the fledgling studio. In the years since, Paul has acted as animation director and director for many high-profile shows for broadcasters such as Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, BBC, Disney and Netflix.

Paul is currently the Senior Television Director in Boulder Media, creatively overseeing production on all TV shows being produced inhouse.
Jon Wigfield
Jon Wigfield, Head of TV Production
Jon has over 30 years’ experience in the Film and TV industry. As Head of TV Production at Boulder Media, Jon have overall responsibility to ensure all the projects have the resources they need to meet the unique requirements.

As Head of TV Production at Boulder Media, Jon have overall responsibility to ensure all the projects have the resources they need to meet the unique requirements of each show and maintain the highest possible production standards - for which Boulder is renowned - whilst maintaining budgets and schedules.
Dominic Moffat
Dominic Moffat, Line Producer
Starting out as a runner in the VFX industry and quickly moved into the animation world via a small animation studio in Dublin. After having worked in many creative roles over multiple productions, he began working in the technical side of the things before landing in the producing space.
Starting out as a runner in the VFX industry and quickly moved into the animation world via a small animation studio in Dublin. After having worked in many creative roles over multiple productions, he began working in the technical side of the things before landing in the producing space. He quickly discovered his love for producing as he spent many years working as a Line Producer in Boulder Media on several projects. Taking many of those projects from very early development to final delivery to the networks. His experience is varied from the creative, technical and production aspects of animation. Dominic has worked on high profile shows such as My little pony, Transformers Cyberverse and has worked with Clients from Disney, Warner Brothers and Netflix. Most recently Dominic had produced the multi award winning short film "Brother Ezekiel".
