When you work in a busy animation office possibly one of the best things that can happen in your day is to open a piece of post or check an email only to find a brilliant piece of art or a letter sent in by a young person inspired by what you do.

We have been extremely lucky to have had a few such letters over the last week and wanted to say a MASSIVE thanks to the kids who have taken the time to write and send us in their amazing artworks.

Thank you so much and keep up the hardwork!!

Email from Billy Crinion aged 12 – we could only put a few of the pictures sent up on the blog but we loved them all!! Thanks Billy!!

Dear Boulder Media,

My name is Billy Crinion, I am twelve yrs old, I want to be an animator/cartoonist when I get older. I have been drawing and animating for a long time, its my passion, I cant wait to get home from school so I can start drawing! I read an article in the Irish Independent yesterday about your company and I was very surprised to know that it was an Irish commpany that did the animation for Fosters home for Imaginary kids…the episodes with “Cheese” were my favourite they are so funny! I would love to visit your studio some day. I have attached a few of my drawings, one has a pic of me with my animation me, I hope you like them! Congratulations on your new job with Disney, my hero is Walt Disney maybe I could be the creator of an Irish version of Disney someday.

A letter sent by Ben Rigney aged nearly 11 with some lovely drawings of wildlife, the owl has been making us all get very nostalgic about Don Conroy!! Thanks Ben!!
